As the CEO of HR Off-Site, Julia Sebastian is passionate about working with business leaders and owners to achieve sustainable business growth and increased productivity. She is also committed to working closely with leaders and corporate teams, to develop plans and processes aimed at reaching corporate goals and streamlining business practices.
Julia Sebastian is a life-long resident of Niagara Falls and has consistently been committed to strengthening her community. This continues with her leadership roles in both Community Addictions Services of Niagara (CASON) and Niagara College.
Responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, Julia’s 20 plus years of Human Resource experience enables her to effectively support both small and medium sized businesses, in the for-profit and not for profit sectors, with their Human Resources needs. Her areas of expertise include, strategic Human Resource planning, leadership development, attracting and retaining top talent, performance management and the optimization of business results.
She is a proud graduate of the Management of Human Resources program at Niagara College and is a Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL). She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business and is a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University.
In conjunction with her duties as CEO of HR Off-Site, Julia is also the current President of the Board of Directors of CASON and Chair of the Human Resources Advisory Committee at Niagara College. Julia has a unwavering commitment to the clients she serves, her community and to educating and mentoring the next generation of Human Resource and business professionals.
Alexander Beck joins HR Off-Site as the new HR Business Partner, equipped with an academic background in Political Science and a keen interest in HR consulting. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University, Alexander has developed his critical thinking abilities, analytical skills, and comprehensive understanding of the social, economic, and political factors that shape the realm of work.
His keen interest in HR consulting gravitates towards the fields of labor relations and leadership development, where he finds himself captivated by the intricate dynamics between employers and employees. Recognizing the pivotal role effective leadership plays in driving organizational success, Alexander's academic coursework has provided him with a solid foundation to analyze complex labor relations issues, develop conflict resolution strategies, and foster positive employee relations.
Alexander hopes to attend law school, fueled by the desire to delve deeper into the junction between law and business. As the new HR Coordinator, Alexander is excited to be part of HR Off-Site's fast-growing and dynamic team of HR professionals. He is excited by the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors while contributing his skills and fresh perspectives to the team's initiatives. Moreover, he acknowledges the significance of keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices, finding great excitement in being associated with a forward-thinking company that embraces innovation and fosters growth.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Alexander is an avid reader who dedicates time to expanding his knowledge and honing his skills. His passion for research finds expression through active engagement in writing and editing for student publications during his tenure at McGill University. This experience has honed his ability to critically analyze information, synthesize complex ideas, and communicate effectively.
Driven by his eagerness to grow and develop his skills, Alexander looks forward to making meaningful contributions to the HR Off-Site team and to helping their client’s businesses continue to flourish.
